Oh no!! Someone has wrecked Santa's toy factory, leaving candy canes and ornaments strewn out all around the place! And to top that, someone has also stolen all of the gifts that Santa should be delivering on Christmas Eve!! What a disaster! Santa has been drawing up a list of the possible suspects, but he needs our Math Detectives help to choose the correct person or animal who committed these Christmas crimes!! In this super fun mystery, students will solve the clues and eliminate suspects...
Student will review and practice: -Adding double-digit numbers (starts off with no regrouping, then progresses to some regrouping) -Value of the underlined digit (ones, tens, and hundreds) -Subtracting double-digit numbers (no regrouping) -Reading the Time (O'Clock and Half-Past only) -Missing Numbers in Number Patterns (The patterns are adding/subtracting) -Missing addends to make 30
Students will need: -pencil and paper OR dry erase board and marker to work out problems
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
