Season Sprinkles: A Collection of Winter/ Christmas Paintings $24 for 4 wks.
In this 4 week "Winter/ Christmas Painting" series, students will create a skating penguin, a gingerbread house, a snowman and a reindeer. They will learn acrylic tricks, all while celebrating the season. Plus, they make great gifts!

Class Experience
Your artist will learn how to apply and blend acrylic paint. I will also sprinkle in art concepts such as: line, shape, color, pattern, space and texture. Lesson Format: Prerecorded videos No Prior Knowledge Required. Weekly Interactions: 1. Assignments will be posted every Wednesday by noon central time. Each art lesson will be prerecorded. 2. ***No classes the week of November 25 to December 1 for Thanksgiving OR the week of December 23 to December 29. An extra flex week will be available (at the end of the course) for student who choose to have the week of December 30 to January 5 off.*** Weekly Interactions: 1. Assignments will be posted every Wednesday by noon central time. Each art lesson will be prerecorded. 2. On Wednesdays, a Flipgrid question will be posted on our private artist community page. Students are required to post at least one 1 minute video response every week. Students may respond to the question of the week and/or comment on other students' art work. All video comments will take 24 hours to post to allow for teacher review. (If students are shy they may use a puppet or pet until they are comfortable.) On the first day of class, students will receive their username and a direct link. Art reflection and critiquing is a crucial part of the creative art process. 3. Should any questions arise, just post in the classroom. I will respond through text. 4. Projects are due Wednesdays (by noon central time) of the following week. Every child is encourage to post their finished art piece on Flipgrid.(Shy students may use a puppet or pet until they are comfortable.) Flipgrid will allow, both myself and their peers, to celebrating their success and highlight their artistic gifts through video comments. 5. There are NO live meetings. Time requirement will range from 60 minutes to 90 minutes for each assignment each week.
These are the supplies needed for all 4 weeks. computer with camera access 1- pencil 1- eraser 4 - 8 x 10 white canvas 1- small detail brush 1- flat, size 10 or 12 paint brush 1- paint palette OR 4 paper plates 1- Optional, painting/mixing knife 1- apron OR paint shirt (paint stains) 1- cup with water paper towels 1 - 2 oz. black acrylic paint 1 - 2 oz. white acrylic paint 1 - 2 oz. orange acrylic paint 1 - 2 oz. blue acrylic paint 1 - 2 oz. red acrylic paint 1 - 2 oz. green acrylic paint 1 - 2 oz. brown acrylic paint 1 -2 oz. yellow acrylic paint
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
