Class Experience

Do you know how many Celebrations around the world there are in December and January? Amazingly, December has 40 and January has 14. The average month has less than 10. Why do you think there are so many during this time of year? During this inclusive and secular multimedia presentation we'll explore the reasons why December and January is the Season of Light while learning about 13 religious celebrations from around the world as well as some international secular holidays. We'll look at the...

Learners will add another level of understanding to being an educated global citizen while learning about all of the celebrations held around the world during this Season of Light.

During my Bachelor's and Master's Degree programs I took 5 different World Religion classes. I love learning about the history and culture of different religions and countries. I have taught this inclusive and secular class to kids and adults *every* holiday season for the past decade and always get excellent feedback. Everyone loves learning more about the world around them and becoming a more informed global citizen, especially at this time of year! :D
