Our private test prep tutoring services can be a valuable tool for students who need extra help developing test prep skills. Whether it's struggling with reading comprehension, math concepts, or writing techniques, we can provide one-on-one attention and personalized instruction to support a student's academic growth. We enjoy helping students do it all. Our private tutoring sessions can also help boost a student's confidence and motivation, setting them on a path to success in and outside of the classroom. With our help, students can gain the foundational skills they need to thrive academically and reach their full potential when taking standardized tests. We are so excited to have the opportunity to work with your child. We enjoy making our classes engaging and fun. We are able to assist with any topic where we need to fill in the gaps or where your learner would like to advance. We can work with State Standards, Common Core Standards and More. During each session, we will participate in the following: Warm Up Exercises SEL exercises to build confidence Fun Activities Check for Understanding A Quick Review Homework Homeschool Curriculum Special Requests Test Taking Topics will include but are not limited to: Time Management for Test Taking Test Anxiety Management Critical thinking and Problem-Solving Test Prep Study Skills Mnemonic Strategies that Help Reading Between the Lines: Key Words that Guide Response Utilizing Scratch Paper in Multiple Ways Recognizing and Avoiding Distractions Understanding Directions and Instructions on Tests Improving Memory and Retention for Long-Term Learning Maximizing your Note-Taking for Review Strategies for Answering Multiple-Choice Questions Identifying Key Words and More This class will fly by quickly, but your child will walk away with skills that have been further developed and celebrate their achievements at the end of class.
