Let's learn about the sea turtle life cycle! Did you know mother sea turtles crawl up on the beach to lay their eggs? And hatchlings dig their way out of the nest then swim for miles without stopping to eat? And when they are adults, they find their way back to the same beach where they hatched? I'm a homeschool mom with a degree in Marine Biology and I've been volunteering at sea turtle hospitals for over 7 years. I've given lessons about sea turtles to all age groups in many informal learning environments, including sea turtle education centers and homeschool groups.
