Class Experience

In this one - time class , the students will learn about sea turtles.The students will be shown pictures of  sea turtles.The students will read the book together National Geographic Readers: Sea Turtles  by Laura Marsh (used with permission).The students will draw step by step :sea turtles with a black  oil pastels.We will discuss what they want to add to their background.The students will be painting the background and the sea turtle.I will be doing it with the students.At the end of the...

 12″ x 18″ white sulphite paper

– Cake or puke tempera paint

– Black oil pastel

– White school glue, brush & glitter (optional)

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Please supervise your student when they are doing the craft by making sure you are you are not on the camera.
