Sea Turtle Story Time + Activity!

In this one-time class, students will meet with a marine biologist by video chat. The teacher will read a sea turtle story. Students will learn how baby sea turtles hatch and make their way to the ocean! Hands-on activity included.

Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding of sea turtle life cycles. 
I am a marine biologist with years of experience teaching students about sea turtles. I've even seen a sea turtle hatchling release up close!
The teacher will provide activity sheets. Students need to provide: Coloring supplies (crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc.) Paper or styrofoam plate Assortment of craft supplies (construction paper, tissue paper, google eyes, glue, scissors) OPTIONAL: Copy of 'Poky, the Turtle Patrol' by Diana Kanan. Kindle version, paperback, and hardcover available on Amazon:
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
