Acrylic paint:
Please try to get "student grade paint" - Liquitex basics ($5-10/color) is what I recommend
You will use more white than any other color, so I recommend buying an extra white

colors needed for this project:
BLACK
WHITE
BLUE
Optional - teal or green

**we will generally use 1/2oz of each color, so when you buy paint you can get multiple projects of out a 4 -12 oz tubes

Creativity is a very personalized process, I encourage my students to take "Progress photos" so that when done, they can look back at how they transformed a blank canvas into a painting. These photos are a great visual documentation of their learning. In a year or 5 years, they can look back at their photos and realize how far their skills have come. Thus boosting their morale/ self-esteem to do more creative things.
1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.
