Class Experience
This class begins with an interactive PowerPoint presentation identifying reptiles and their identifying characteristics, discussing threats to sea turtles in the wild and concluding with ways everyone can help reduce their impact on our planet. The students will engage in question and answer and discussion throughout the length of the class. No prior knowledge is needed to join this class.
Students will gain an understanding of the threats sea turtles face in the ocean and ways they can help.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The teacher will assess the students understanding of the material throughout the lesson based on student participation.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
