Join us at a sea turtle rescue center in south Texas to learn about injuries and threats facing endangered sea turtles and what Sea Turtle, Inc. is doing to help.
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 5
This class begins with an interactive PowerPoint presentation identifying reptiles and their identifying characteristics, discussing threats to sea turtles in the wild, and concluding with ways everyone can help reduce their impact on our planet. The students will engage in question and answer and discussion throughout the length of the class. No prior knowledge is needed to join this class.
Students will gain an understanding of the threats sea turtles face in the ocean and ways they can help.
