In this class, children will be exposed to various beginner phrases ( Hola, Adios, Bien Hecho, Amigos...and more!) as well as learn the names of their new sea animal friends (in this class we will learn Tortuga (turtle), Pescado (fish), Tiburón (shark), and Pulpo (octopus). This class is highly interactive and I like to use slides with lots of pictures so it's a very visual class as well. There is no required experience needed at all! In the class we will be introduced to each of our new sea friends and learn how to say hello to them. In the end, we will do a fun review time where the kids will have a fun quiz on the names of their new sea friends!

Hi! My name is Abigail Dost and I am currently a Linguistics Major with a minor in TESOL. Main languages in my study have been Spanish, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese. I also have some background in Middle Eastern language (specifically Hebrew and Arabic). Here, I will be teaching beginner Spanish classes for young children.
I've always loved learning languages as it is a skill that can be so useful in the professional world as well as something that can also bring people together! Learning languages can be difficult but it is easiest to acquire a new language when you are young, so my goal is to help give children a basic understanding of and exposure to Spanish while also making it fun for them!
