This is a life class. Students will learn how to use different baking utensils. Also, I will show and explain step by step the proper way to measure different cooking ingredients, how to mix all ingredients together, and how to prepare a baking pan for baking. I will instruct the students about safety usage of the oven, to which temperature to preheat the oven, and when to put the baking pan with the brownie batter in the oven. The students will get instructions when to take their brownies...
A mixing bowl, a whisk, measurement cup, measurement spoons, butter knife, spatular, baking pan, parchment paper. Food ingredients are cocoa powder, baking soda, coarse salt, olive oil, boiling water, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, mini marshmallow.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Attention! Kids will use an oven. If your child has any food allergy, please check the food ingredients need for the class in the "Learner Supply List" to decide if this class is good for your child.
