In this ongoing class, students will learn a new element of coding each week using the website, Scratch (https://scratch.mit.edu/)! Students will learn quick and simple codes, like animating your name, making a character jump, coding a bat flying across the screen, and more! The possibilities are endless. This class is designed for students that are familiar with coding, but still want to learn some basic commands to create a fun and exciting animation or game! This class does not require a...
Students will be introduced to the fun and exciting website, Scratch! They will learn how to code a little bit at a time.
Two computer devices are necessary for this class. One to view the class code and one to code on your own. Tablets, laptops, PCs, etc. are perfect.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be using scratch.mit.edu to learn different coding skills. A login is required so your learner can save his/her work. Some projects will be shared after teacher has reviewed them.
