MIT developed Scratch 3.0 is a fun way to learn the basics of coding. Students in this course would have double the fun when they learn how to create video games while incorporating their favourite Pokemon characters. This level requires prior coding experience on scratch or you could take the level 1 of the same series. Please ensure you have a free scratch account created before the class. The class will follow as: Day 1, 2 and 3 : Pokemon Tournament - In these lesson students will make a Pokemon Tournament(advance level) game. It is a multiplayer game where Player 1 will start by choosing one of the six Pokemon. The player 1 will be able to Pokémon can be controlled by using the arrow keys and the player 2 will control their Pokemon using the alphabet keys. Both players will have different attack keys as well. Day 4, 5 and 6 : Pokemon Battle - In this lesson students will make a Pokemon Battle game where their Pokemon competes with different attack choices against a computer chosen Pokemon. This game teaches learners on game designing and graphics where they understand how attack lighting and health lightings work etc. This class is interactive and the learners can choose their own Pokemon character for game creations.
