Scrapbooking: Cropping Fun!
In this one-time session, students will meet to work with others as they put together scrapbook pages and layouts of their choice. It's part social time, part creative time, part instruction time (for anyone who has questions), and all fun!
Let's crop! In the world of scrapbooking, a crop event is all about coming together to work on pages and layouts and enjoy the company of others while doing do. Often they are held at local scrapbooking stores, which are now fewer and farther between than they were in the past. So, let's do a crop class / event for teens and have fun together! Scrapbooking is an amazing hobby because it allows participants to be creative while preserving their memories for generations to come. It's art with...
The goals are to create scrapbook pages and layouts while having fun and being social, seek creative input from the instructor, and learn how to support others in a creative environment.

1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will need to supply their own: - Printed photos they want to use to create scrapbook pages and layouts - Acid-free papers and stickers - Archival-quality ink pens and various colored markers - Acid free adhesive, glue stick, tape runner, etc. - Embellishments such as acid free tape, brads, buttons, jewels, ribbons, charms, etc. (nothing is required) - Plastic page protectors in the size of their intended layouts to safely store finished work If students prefer to work on digital pages, they will need access to a digital design platform of their choice (my favorite place to create memory books is Snapfish.com, but they can choose whatever site they like). They will need their digital photos organized so they can get some creative work done during the crop.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Meet the teacher
Hello Students and Parents! I think I was born to be a teacher. When I was a little girl, my favorite game was "school," and I loved to play it, but only if I could be the teacher! Almost everything I have done in my life I ended up teaching in...
