In this one time class, students will listen to the story, Scooby Doo: Giddy Up Scooby Doo. The teacher will ask the students to 'I Spy' sight words on each page. Students will practice writing the sight words on their own whiteboards.

In this one time class, students will listen to the story, Scooby Doo, Giddy Up Scooby Doo. After the students listen to the story, they will go back to play 'I Spy Sight Words' on each page of the story. For example, on page 1, students will listen to the teacher say the sight word and will be shown the sight word to search for. Students will search the page on the screen for the Sight Words. Once the students 'spy' each word, they will practice writing the word on their own whiteboards...
Students will improve their learning of 'Sight Words.' They will listen to the sight words, see the sight words, and write the sight words.
Students will be assessed by their participation of finding the Sight Words and writing them.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
