In this class, students will be guided through a fun science experiment where we do fizzy paint. Students will be encouraged to replicate the experiment at home during class, but they will be allowed to simply observe if they would like to save the mess. Throughout our class time, I will be asking students questions, and students will be encouraged to make predictions on what will happen in the experiment. Students will be able to learn through hands-on, age-appropriate science experiments.
For this class, students will need the following: -Watercolor paper (will be happy to give suggestions where to find this if necessary) -Food coloring (three to four colors) -Bottle of white vinegar -Box of baking soda -4 small cups -4 Pipettes or syringes
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
