Hey parents! Are you looking for a way to help your kids make new friends and explore science at the same time? Look no further than the Scientists Social Club! This fun and supportive group meets once a week to chat, do simple experiments, and hang out with each other. In our weekly meetings, I will show kids some examples of the science experiment. Then we will split up into breakout rooms so kids can work on experiments and talk in small teams to keep things lively and engaged. I will hop...
Students in this class will do easy hands-on science projects while they work on social skills. Most of the projects can be modified and students can work on collaboration skills to modify them together. Sharing ideas and making new friends is the goal of this class!
I worked hands-on in a lab for several years as an engineer. My goal for this class is to have the kids do fun, simple science experiments.

Supplies will be listed each week on the classroom page. They vary from week to week but I try to stick with using regular household items to make it easy on parents and keep the supply list to a minimum.
There are simple science projects in this class. While I try to design each project simple enough for kids to complete on their own, some younger children may need more help. As always, parent supervision is required on the days we use scissors or other science supplies.
