Class Experience
In this class, we will learn about a different scientific discovery or invention from history each week. We will study the people involved in making the discovery and the science involved in it. I will provide handouts each week so that students can keep a record of what we are learning. We will end the 9-week class with students sharing about ideas for what they would like to invent or discover. Students will be encouraged to make a drawing or model of their invention idea or what they hope...
Students will learn about 8 scientific discoveries or inventions and the lives of the people who were involved.
I have been teaching math and science to preschool and elementary age students in our homeschool coop for the past 4.5 years.
Week 9 - drawing or model of future invention or discovery - use your imagination!
Handouts provided each week, writing utensil. I will post supplies for optional experiments each week.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
