Class Experience

Nothing says the holidays like fun science experiments performed by the jolly one himself.. Join Science Santa, aka Paul the Beard, for a joyous time of celebration and discovery. In this 25-minute session we will celebrate the Holidays with the following activities:

-A personalized introduction
-Sing a science carol
-Experience a science experiment and learn about heat transfer and conductivity
-Tell Science Santa your Wishlist
-Help write a hilarious holiday science mad lib

Students will learn about heat transfer and conductivity.

The following items are need for the hand-on experiment:

-one ice cube
-a bowl
-a 12" piece of string
a table spoon of salt.

Participants will be accessed by the amount of smiles and laughter.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
