Class Experience

I taught grades 2-5 as a public school teacher, and I currently teach elementary age kids with my local homeschool co-op. I'm also a certified teacher in the state of Texas.

Supplies Eight craft sticks (popsicle sticks) all of them need to be the same size; have extra in case one breaks Any of these sizes will work: LxW 4.5 x 0.4 (11.43 cm x 1.01 cm) LxW 6 inches x 3/4 inches ( 15.2 cm x 19 mm) or a different size will be fine. Any color is fine too. Four or five sturdy rubber bands ( a bag with assorted sizes will be fine) have extras in case one or more break plastic spoons ( 2-3) heavy weight; the spoons that are used for eating large marshmallows that will fit into the bowl of the spoon
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
 The kids will be launching marshmallows with their catapults.
