Class Experience
In this 2 week multi-day class, kids will learn about different chemical reactions. Each meeting we will complete a safe chemistry experiment that shows different chemistry concepts. The kids and I will do the activities together. They will be able to interact with me during our class time by asking questions, etc. I will share my screen when we discuss the chemistry concepts. I have taught chemistry to all ages as a teacher and with my local homeschool co-op. I have taught with Outschool since October 2020. I am a certified teacher in the state of Texas.
1 file available upon enrollmentA pdf of the supplies is available upon enrollment. We will be using washing soda, Epsom salts, vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda, active dry yeast, and other supplies.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The kids may need help with the activities if they are not accustomed to using measuring cups, measuring spoons, etc. We will be using washing soda, Epsom salts, vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda, active dry yeast, liquid dish soap, citric acid, and other supplies. A pdf of the supply list is available in the classroom.
