In this class, your child will learn about the American robin, a bird in North America. We will learn about its diet, habitat, and lifecycle. During our class , I will share my screen so the kids can view the slide show that illustrates the diet, habitat, and lifecycle of the American robin. Hi, I'm Miss Robyn, and I have been a citizen scientist with The Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont where I helped with their annual bird count. I have also taught kids of all ages as a public school teacher, private instructor with my local home school organization, and as a 4-H leader. I enjoy sharing my interests which include hiking, gardening, science, reading, cooking, and being in nature.

1 file available upon enrollment1 bottle of white school glue (4oz at least) 1 art paint brush used for watercolor painting or acrylic painting A container to mix the glue and water Water in a separate container (1/4 c) Scissors Newspaper ( 3-5 sheets) Plastic wrap (cling film) like Saran Wrap A bowl ( This is used as a mold to make the nest. I recommend a small bowl like a cereal bowl, soup bowl) Measuring cups 1/2 C Flour 1/2 C Salt 1/4 C warm Water Blue food coloring ( liquid is fine) Bowl to mix the dough Spoon for mixing Damp paper towels or cloth for cleaning hands Dry paper towels or cloth for cleaning up spills
