This is the flexible option for those who cannot make the live class. Learn to talk about your favorite science topics in Spanish using literature, songs, and activities! Each 4-week course focuses on one science topic, with an emphasis on vocabulary, scientific concepts, and conversation. After all, we love to talk about our favorite things. Students will learn questions and answers to participate in a simple conversation about insects. Students will present the favorite insect using as much Spanish as possible.
Homework Offered
There are optional worksheets and resources to help practice the sentence structures and vocabulary being learned.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will present a project using the learned vocabulary and sentence structures. They can draw a picture to talk about, write sentences, etc. They will use as much Spanish as they can; Spanglish is allowed! (It's how we learn and our brains operate.)Grades Offered
Parent notes include vocabulary, grammar, and other useful information and handouts to practice and extend topics learned in the live class.
