Class Experience
Learn to talk about your favorite science topics in Spanish using literature, songs, and activities! Each 4-week course focuses on one science topic, with an emphasis on vocabulary, scientific concepts, and conversation. After all, we love to talk about our favorite things. Learn how to do it in Spanish! "Reptiles" (pronounced rep-TEE-lehs in Spanish) is an introductory course of reptiles. Students will participate in a simple conversation about reptiles. Students will present their favorite reptile using as much Spanish as possible.
There are optional worksheets to help practice the sentence structures and vocabulary being learned.
1 file available upon enrollmentParent notes and handouts are provided to practice and extend what is learned in class.
Students will present a project using the learned vocabulary and sentence structures. They can draw a picture to talk about, write sentences, etc. They will use as much Spanish as they can; Spanglish is allowed! (It's how we learn and our brains operate.)
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
