What's included
1 live meeting
55 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
This class includes one fun inter-disciplinary learning activity that integrates inquiry based learning, creative expression, and problem solving processes. Students will learn to build a moving zombie hand on their own. They will learn about the concepts of tension, robotics and anatomy. They will challenge themselves to build the hand using their own hand as base, locate the joints and replicate them accordingly. The goal is to deliver hands-on learning experience that guides student inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking while partnering the technical aspects with art. During the process of discovery, we learn about the science involved, the technology, the robotics and engineering principles that make it possible, and the artistic purposes to which it can be put. We bring learning to life with practical and relevant activities, projects and experiments that show students how education interacts with the real world. This class is highly interactive and students will have the opportunity to socialize and share their ideas in a fun and upbeat environment. Please see below for materials and supplies.
