Description
Class Experience
In this one-time class, we will explore characteristics of fungus and their essential role on our planet. Next, we will narrow the focus to Ophiocordyceps unilateralis, otherwise known as 'zombie-ant fungus' where we will learn its unique (and creepy!) impact on ants. We will use images and video clips to deepen our learning. At the end of the lesson, students will complete a quick draw of the fungus and then have the opportunity to either orally share or write what they learned. This will be...
