Students will learn the basic anatomy of spiders. Students will learn about their unique abilities. Students will study five specific spiders and then determine which is the most frightening. Students will complete a simple science experiment to determine why spiders do not stick to their own web. Students will create their own web.
1st STEM activity: Paper Tape Oil (a very small amount) 2nd STEM activity: Paper plate Scissors String, yarn, etc.
Please note that students will be using scissors to make some simple cuts into their paper plates. Parental guidance may be needed to ensure safety.
