Beginner Level
Class Experience In this interactive science class, students will explore the fascinating world of animals through reading, writing, and engaging discussions. They will learn about animal habitats, movements, and unique traits while building essential literacy skills. What will be taught? Students will develop vocabulary, phonics, and reading comprehension while diving into key science concepts, including animal adaptations, ecosystems, and movement patterns. What topics will you cover? Farm Animals & Their Products – Learn about the roles of animals like cows, hens, and sheep on a farm. Wildlife & Habitats – Explore the lives of alligators, flamingos, and other fascinating creatures. Animal Movements – Compare how animals slither, hop, run, and swim, and what makes each movement unique. Grammar & Writing Skills – Practice describing animal traits and movements while improving sentence structure and vocabulary. How is your class structured? Each lesson includes interactive discussions, reading activities, vocabulary exercises, and writing practice. Students will engage in hands-on activities and storytelling to reinforce learning. The class encourages curiosity through guided exploration, helping learners connect science concepts with everyday life.
Learning Goals
Identify and describe different types of animals and their habitats using specific vocabulary, such as "forest," "ocean," and "grassland."
Compare and contrast the movement patterns of various animals, such as hopping, slithering, swimming, and flying, and explain how these adaptations help them survive.

Farm Animal Fun: Phonics, Vocabulary, and Farm Produce
Students will learn vocabulary to describe farm animals and friends while practicing the long 'u' sound. They'll use a Venn Diagram for comparisons, engage in writing, listening, and speaking exercises, building foundational reading skills.

Farmer's Trio: Compare, Read, & Write Adventures!
Students will develop vocabulary related to animals and habitats, practice comparing with a Venn Diagram, and write descriptions. They'll also engage in listening and speaking exercises, improving language skills through the photo essay.
