Class experience
Students in this class build nonfiction (informational) reading skills, strategies, comprehension, and confidence as we work with a new Science-themed article each class. Science themes connect to various disciplines including Zoology, Ecology, Conservation, Physical Geography, and Environmental Science. Most articles in this class are found on websites such as the National Geographic Educational Resources and others. I will provide links to the articles during class. Articles are from websites that are free to access and there is no need to sign up for an account. There may be ads associated with some of the articles.
