I have a background in early childhood and early childhood special education that spans several decades. I have also completed additional coursework in Gifted Education, the Science of Reading, ZooPhonics, and supporting young children on the Autism Spectrum (Trained in the SCERTS model and Zones of Regulation). I am available for 1:1 tutoring for reading readiness/ reading intervention. and Social Emotional Learning (for neurodiverse students). Watch for classes geared toward Preschoolers and Kindergarteners . I am planning both 1:1 tutoring sessions and small group classes.
I graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a Master's in Early Childhood Special Education . I love seeing the excitement when a child masters a new skill. I will make learning fun while building confidence and skills. When I am not in the classroom, I spend time with my family and friends, create artwork, and hang out with my cat, Claudette. I anticipate meeting and working with your child and you. Thank You for the opportunity to enrich your child's life.
