Let's take a Virtual Trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom! Using Slides and Clips, we will learn a brief History of the park ,attractions and then focus on the residents of that call the park home. - Animal Kingdom is home to over 2,000 animals - representing 300 different species. We will look at the physical features, behavioral characteristics and natural habitats of each of the Animal Kingdom's residents. Students will learn new vocabulary, as well as the geographical location of each animals original home. - Students will learn facts about the daily care of the animals, as they reside in the Orlando theme park and watch clips, recording animals daily lives there. Animals that will be covered include, but are not limited to... - Scarlet Macaw -Sharpe-winged Teal -Swamp Wallaby -White Ibis -Red Kangaroo -Ring-tailed Lemur -Roseate Spoonbill This class will include various fun facts about Walt Disney, Disney Theme Parks and many Disney movies.
