Class Experience
In this introductory, one time class, learners will learn how magicians often use science in their magic tricks. We will explore some fun experiments together and learn about the science behind the magic. Students are encouraged to participate in the experiments as we complete them together. Learners are encouraged to ask questions and participate through the lesson. We will also discuss how scientists conduct experiments by going through the inquiry model (ask a question, form a...
chop sticks, uncooked rice (enough to fill bottle), 12 oz gatorade bottle or something similar, bowl, water, pepper, dawn dish soap, balloon, tissue paper
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students may need some assistance to complete some of the experiments.
