Various science topics will be incorporated through literacy. Learners will be able to write thoughts, ideas, predictions and much more. The learner will have access to read the document with the story and will also be able to watch a video of the teacher reading aloud the story and engage the student in predicting and much more. The learner will also participate in questions through Nearpod an app that will need parental permission. The learner will also be given some questions and writing prompts that align with the story and will send it to the teacher for feedback. Feedback will be given as soon as the assignment is recieved.
Learning Goals
The learning goal is to promote science and literacy together in one course. Although science can be fun hands on, it can also be beneficial through reading and using targeted information that is needed to master a topic of science.
