Class Experience
In this one time course we will cover safety topics in a science laboratory. This course will be lectured through slides and animations. Students will be assessed with visual and animations of individuals preforming the right or wrong tasks in the lab and will have to distinguish a safe lab student from a not-so-safe one through verbal communication and discussion as a class. Students will learn necessary topics and rules for being safe in science labs.
I have taken many science labs at middle school, high school, and college level. I have more than 3 years of experience working in agricultural science labs. I have taken extensive training through my jobs on lab and science safety.
No supplies are needed for this course. Pencil or pen and paper for note taking is always encouraged though!
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
A certificate will be earned after completion of this course.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
