Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Students will learn about bats, students will learn a year's life a bat. Students will learn that the ability of animals to locate objects through the use of echolocation. We will also demonstrate how the bats do the echolocation. Students will learn about the bats anatomy, learn about the bats life cycle. Students will make their own bat booklet which will be provided on file. Students will learn about fruit bats, long eared bats and how many species of bats do we have. Students will compare bats to birds and learn about the differences. Class will be structured with slides, some videos, looking at different types of bats. Some discussions, what ever makes the students learn to help the student understand about bats. No previous knowledge required, or experience.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance in case of technical difficulties or logging on. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
