Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 9
Join me for an exciting and interactive journey into the world of science and discover how it plays a crucial role in our everyday lives! This class is designed for students in grades 4 to 9 and aims to introduce them to fundamental concepts of science through engaging activities and real-life examples.

In this class, students will:

Learn Basic Science Concepts: Understand the basics of force, chemistry, energy, and motion through clear explanations and discussions.

Explore Real-Life Applications: See physics and chemistry in action with fun demonstrations, such as dropping a ball to illustrate gravity and using a toy car to explain friction.

Participate in Hands-On Experiments: Conduct a simple experiment to measure the speed of a toy car, applying the formula Speed = Distance / Time.

Interactive Discussions: Engage in discussions about their everyday observations and how science explains these phenomena.

Encouragement to Observe: Be inspired to observe and think about the physics happening all around them every day.

Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share their own examples of physics and chemistry in their daily activities, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the subject.

They will also receive a fun homework assignment to further explore physics at home.

This class is perfect for young learners who are curious about how the world works and eager to see the practical side of science. Through this introductory session, we aim to spark a lifelong interest in physics and chemistry and show students that science is not just a subject in school but a fascinating part of their everyday lives. Students will be introduced to a few of science's concepts and theories used in daily life. I want the students to be curious about everything they see and try to seek the science behind things they see and use every day

Learning Goals

Students will enhance their ability to ask scientific questions and seek answers through observation and experimentation.
Students will apply their understanding of physics to solve problems and explain phenomena.
