In this one-time science class students will learn about the digestive system. During an optional hands-on experiment they will begin understanding what happens within our bodies after we eat.

Description
Class Experience
When completed, students will comprehend the basic functions of the human digestive system.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be working with food and liquid during our experiment. Parental supervision is advised unless your learner is not completing the the experiment during the lesson :) Many students do choose to watch and they often complete the experiment when an adult is available after the lesson. This is also why I encourage classroom discussion both before and after our lesson together :) Parents- I'm here to make your job as easy and possible.
