This class is designed for our gamers in mind. You know the ones that are competitive by nature and can't seem to get enough online gaming in. Let's tap into that passion by tagging in some science concepts! Your gamer will be presented with a brief introduction lesson about the weekly topic then we'll get to it with games. Each week will be a new topic and a new game - Kahoot, Gimkit and/or Blooket. All online favorite educational games.

I grew up in Wisconsin where I completed my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education at UW Stout. I've taught for the public school system for 14 years in a variety of positions including classroom teacher, interventionist, ELL teacher and elementary science lab teacher. I hold a Masters Degree in Reading and School Administration from Johns Hopkins. After leaving the public school system I've spent the last several years teaching middle school Science and History at a homeschool tutorial while being a homeschool mom. I enjoy teaching hands on engaging courses that spark the interest of students with the ultimate goal of encouraging them to become life long learners. I welcome student interaction and questions.

In my personal life I LOVE to read, travel and explore new areas, especially the beach! I am a Girl Scout leader and adore every single girl in my troop. As a troop leader I am certified in several outdoors areas- archery, canoe, kayak, camping, etc. I can't wait to share some of my love of the outdoors with families here on Outschool.
