I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and have taught English classes for many years. I have loved reading since I read my first chapter book at age 7.  I soon discovered science  fiction and fantasy and have been in love with these genres ever since. More than anything else I believe instilling a love for good literature and reading helps children develop imagination, good character, and a lifelong habit of learning. This book, 'An Acceptable Time', is the fifth in the 'Time' series, which was my initial introduction into science fiction at the age of 10.  I have successfully completed the first four novels of this time quintet with students here at Outschool. They have requested to do a study of this final book in the series. 

Homework Offered
There will be assigned readings each week.
There will be two class projects assigned. The first will be due in the second week of classes and  the second will be due in the third week of classes. 
2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Participation in class discussions and activities. 
Completion of assigned projects. 
Students successfully completing the class will receive a certificate of completion to confirm their understanding and show the learning objectives completed.
