Class Experience
What will be taught: Students will discuss about the characteristics of cats. Students will discuss the claws, whiskers, purring, tongue, eyes and more. Students learn to have a discussion about the different types of cats there are. Great class for a student who will learn to participate in collaborative conversations with diverse partners with small group or with an adult. How will I teach it: Doc cam will be used for pictures of different cats, students discuss what they know about cats...
Students learn about the characteristics of cats, discuss about cats in what they know, make connections, participate in conversations and their experiences about cats.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance in case of technical difficulties or logging on. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
