Here is the full equipment list for the 8 week course, before each experiment the equipment needed will be given so you do not need to collect all of the supplies at once. Supplies: • a cucumber • a kiwi • olive oil • a potato • salt • sugar • washing-up liquid • yeast • distilled water. • methylated spirits (or other form of alcohol) Equipment list • cling film • oven gloves • a freezer • an ice cube tray • kitchen scales • a marker pen • a microwave or oven • a paper clip • a printer • a ruler • a vegetable peeler • drinking glasses • knife.
Some of the experiments may require parental supervision younger children, for example the fruit may need to be cut and use of the microwave to heat the potatoes.
