Description

Class Experience

Hello, my little scientists! If you’re concerned about sending your child to school this year (or if you’d like some supplemental science lessons), you will love this ongoing class! This class will be fun with lots of hands-on, interactive opportunities. Each week will be a separate science topic that is covered in Kindergarten-1st Grade. (These lessons are based on what I taught in my K-1 classroom.).

Students will learn K-1 science!

There will be minimal homework outside of class time. If students don’t finish work in class, they are welcome to complete the work outside of class!

All handouts will be supplied upon enrollment. 

Most every class:
-Pencil
-Paper
-Kid-friendly scissors
-Crayons
-Glue

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Informal assessment, worksheets

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Students may be working with kid-friendly scissors during class.
