Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 5
Did you know that Physics is among the most hated of the sciences? According to the International Conference on Mathematics and Science Education: Journal of Physics it is!
They further say that "Physics is one of the scientific disciplines
in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), where youth participation is considered unsatisfactory."

Many students struggle with Physics literacy and scientific understanding. Elementary aged children (K-5th grades) are at the perfect academic stage to build knowledge and a love of science.
This class will explore 5 topics of physics in a hands-on fun way that will engage your child to want to know about Physics.

Each class will begin with a 5-10 minute mini lesson on the physics topic being explored. Then they will complete a project about that topic.

Topics & Projects: Please Review the Syllabus Provided

~ Students will not be admitted beyond 5 minutes after class starts. The lesson will be in session and I will not have the opportunity to check the waiting room to admit students who are late. It is up to both the student and the parent to make sure you arrive to class on time. Refunds for missed classes will not be issued However, all classes are recorded so the student may watch at a later date to make up the class.

~~ ALL Students are REQUIRED to be on-screen during the entirety of the class. Students who refuse to keep their cameras on will be given a warning then placed in the waiting room once. If they continue to have their camera off they will be bumped from class and no refund given. This is for YOUR child's safety as well as my preference to be able to see and connect with each student. If you have completed the process for no video usage during class than I recommend that this class is not what you are looking for.
