Description
Class Experience
These classes are offered once a week for four weeks. In each class your learner will discover a science principle through fables and fairy tales. Your learner will be engaged in storytelling, shared reading and science experiments in this interactive class. Each class will begin with a fun storytelling scene introducing some of the best loved fables and fairy tales. Students will learn the principal of displacement in the fable Students will learn the principal of reflection Students will learn the principal of optical illusion Students will learn the principal of shadows
Students will be given an extension activity to do after class if they desire.
Materials for Lesson 1: Measuring cup pitcher or cup of water several small stones, glass decorative stones or landscaping stones Dry erase marker Each week a new list of materials will be listed in the Welcome note.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
