A fun introduction to DNA and its structure. Your student will learn about its structure and function in the cell. We will finish class with a fun 3-dimensional DNA model.

Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
- Describe the structure of DNA (double-helix) and how it relates to its function. - Identify the four nitrogen bases and how they fit together. - Create a model of DNA.
Guided notes are sent out the Sunday before class begins. Students will have the note sheets, pencils, color pencils/crayons/markers, and a piece of printer paper for the origami at the end of class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
