In this engaging ongoing class, students will embark on weekly adventures to explore different locations around the globe, discovering the unique animals that inhabit each area. Each session will cover key aspects of the location, including its capital, climate, and landforms, alongside in-depth studies of various animals found there. Students will make predictions about which animals might live in each location based on the environmental context provided, and delve into fascinating details about the animals' habitats, prey and predators, sizes, lifespans, life cycles, offspring names, physical features, adaptations, and defense mechanisms. This blend of geography and wildlife offers a rich, informative experience that sparks curiosity and fosters a love for learning about our planet and its incredible biodiversity! Hello Outschool families! My name is Mrs. Christi and I have my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education K-6 as well as middle school social studies from the University of Arkansas for 29 years. I have taught in both public and private school settings as well as online for the past four years. I have been teaching for Outschool since 2020.
I am also a mother to five adult children, so I definitely love, adore, and understand children. I look forward to getting to know you and your child(ren) in my fun and engaging classroom I enjoy learning about new places around the world, so look for me to offer geography classes and animals around the world.
