Class Experience

Have you ever wanted to start speaking Spanish? Do you love Science? Now you can learn both at the same time! 

During the class, students will practice speaking the Spanish words and phrases for: 
- coin
- water
- I think that…
- adjectives for size and shape (large, small, round, oval)
- hello greetings
- Spanish numbers 1 to 20 (and maybe more!). 

Also, students will learn why water has surface tension. Students engage in a “water coin” challenge.

Students will learn to speak simple sentences and words in Spanish to describe water tension.

I am a certified bilingual education and science teacher and teach dual language science in both English and Spanish.

1 cup of tap water
A steady flat table surface
A towel, some paper towels or newspaper 
1 water dropper (optional)

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
