Class Experience

In this hands on science course learners will learn all about galaxies. They will participate in classroom discussions and share any fun facts they know. As they learn learners will also create their own galaxy in a jar. 

I understand that some of these supplies may be hard to obtain. If this is the case for your learner and they would still like to take the class please let me know and I can help find an alternative method of creating a galaxy if you need one. I have had some students paint...

My Name is Mrs. Bannert. I am a certified teacher. I have a Masters in Education. For the past five years I have taught in a public school setting and for the past three years I have taught in an online format. I am a certified science teacher. I love all things space. I also love hands on learning. In this course I have combined both of the things I love to teach your learner interesting facts while creating something amazing.

Clean clear Jar with Lid (may be glass or plastic)
Tap Water
1 Bag of Cotton Balls 
Tempera or Acrylic Paint (2 colors of your choice minimum needed) 
Spoon, stick, or butter knife to push cotton balls down with 
Fine Glitter

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
