The SCAT (School and College Ability Test) is a standardized test conducted by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY). SCAT is an above-grade-level test that measures a child’s abilities by testing verbal and quantitative abilities. It is designed for grades 2-12 students and intended to identify gifted students at multiple grade levels.  The test is typically a computer-based, timed, multiple-choice quantitative and verbal assessment.

In this class, students will preview and solve sample quantitation and verbal assessment questions.
